About Rakesh

THE COACH BEHIND THE BRAND

I'm Rakesh Patel, an Accredited Exercise Physiologist (AEP) and golf performance specialist, holding a Master's degree in Physiology with a focus on golf biomechanics.

I founded Raksgolf because I saw a gap: golfers of all levels, from weekend players to competitive amateurs, were leaving serious performance on the table due to physical limitations they didn't even know they had.

My approach fuses evidence-based exercise physiology with golf-specific movement science. The result? More distance, better consistency, and a body that can keep playing for decades.

I am a scratch golfer who has competed at the amateur level, representing the Auckland Provincial Senior Men's Team. I don't just understand the demands of the game from a textbook. I've lived them under competitive pressure, and that experience shapes every program I build.
